Update

So the doctor explained that Josh is better (especially when this particular on-call doc saw him, which was Tuesday, which was probably the worst day), but that we do need to get past the oxygen barrier overnight to ensure that when he goes home, that he will be ok without needing oxygen. So he’s been off oxygen since this morning, and levels have been very good. He’s sleeping now, off oxygen, and levels are really good, above the level required for overnight, and consistent thus far. Doc is having them hold off oxygen, and if they think it is needed, to page and discuss with him prior to anything.

While we want to be optimistic, we also know that last night his levels did go down and he required oxygen. So it is up the air right now, which doesn’t exactly help our nerves. But it is what it is.
