Joshua’s grasp of communication…

So Josh is past the cry for everything wrong/needed stage…beginning to jabber a bit. But also communicates non-verbally quite well.

Since he was little, one of the calming things he liked was to be patted on the bottom when being held and especially when being nursed. Recently he began to lightly hit JoAnn’s arm at times when nursing. She figured out what it meant, and as soon as she starting patting his bottom, he stopped. She stops, he starts, and in the same rhythm as she pats him.

Not too shabby for 6 months, eh?
