Tacoma exploded!

So I’m driving to the Best Buy in Tacoma to meet someone from a craigslist post, and see a huge plume of smoke somewhere west of downtown. Get there and park facing it to watch the smoke plume over the Tacoma Mall.

Few minutes later a HUGE fireball–hundreds of feet in the air–and the biggest explosion I’ve ever seen, or felt. Called JoAnn, and it had shaken our house like a very short earthquake.

Turns out a manufacturing plant in Tacoma (and where our next-door neighbor works) had a fire and multiple explosions. See here.
