Obama’s Silly Little Ads

A new ad for the Obama campaign includes:
“Things have changed in the last 26 years. But McCain hasn’t. He admits he still doesn’t know how to use a computer, can’t send an e-mail,” the narrator says. “After one president who was out of touch, we just can’t afford more of the same.”

First, if Obama had experience, he would undoubtedly know that there would be virtually no reason for a President to ever email, with the sensitive, confidential, and often classified nature of virtually everything. Politically, for plausible deniability, it’s not always good to put things in writing…

Furthermore, I take issue of the whole idea of “using a computer”. I doubt many at all of Obama’s folks know how to “use a computer”…they use Windows or Mac OSX….in other words, they use the operating system. I’d venture that none of them has built a computer from scratch, for example.

Bunch of prententious jerks…and not very tolerant.
