What’s He Trying To Say?!

JoAnn just got back from the grocery store with what’s needed for tomorrow’s feast. I was then handed the below-pictured can by Josh (our almost 22-month old) and told the story behind it.

They were in line for checkout, when Josh looked over at the cooler by the stand, pointed, and said “Daddy”. JoAnn wasn’t sure, so grabbed an iced tea and the energy drink, and he pointed out the energy drink and said “Daddy” again.

A perceptive child. And adaptive in his thinking, since I normally don’t do Monster drinks.

Perhaps he just read "Monster" and made the logical leap?Kids are far more perceptive than we think – until it's too late and they're repeating stuff back to the in-laws we didn't intend for them to hear!

That's cold. And from a pastor now less. Not edifying… 😉

Also…does that mean I should ask lots of questions of the kids when we visit?
