On Being A Dad…

Thursday night we went to a play (Charlotte’s Web)…all of us, including Joshie and baby Maddie (who did outstanding, btw).

Josh was sitting in my lap for most of it so he could see better, and out of the blue at one point he turns to me and says “Love you daddy” and gives me a big hug. Yeah, this daddy thing’s not so bad. 😉

{There was indeed danger in this: we sometimes have this back-and-forth thing where we say we love the other person MORE, and sometimes he gets into it and gets pretty….loud. But this time, just sweetness, not volume!}
