First Citizens Bank: Customer Service Soup Nazi
- by Scott
For those that don’t get the reference in the title, it’s from an episode of Seinfeld (click link for full explanation).
First Citizens Bank apparently requires you to obey the rules and not ask questions. After the last series of contacts with customer support, questioning the charges and requesting an accounting of them, they’ve basically just said “no soup for you!”:
Dear Customer,
Thank you for your message. Unfortunately we are unable to assist you further with this issue. You will need to contact your local branch. The branch can work with you on the fees being credited back. If you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to send us a message or call us toll free at 866-FCB-4BIZ (866-322-4249), option 5. Our representatives are available Monday through Friday between the hours of 8am and 8pm ET. Thank you for contacting Business Central. We appreciate your business.
I did not ask for a credit of the charges. I simply requested an audit of what they show to ensure that the charges are valid by ensuring there are no identical images viewed within seconds of each other, which would be indicative of the ones that did not load as explained earlier.
But instead I get a simple shove-off: we are unable to assist you further.
Totally not acceptable.
