Take a baby to the symphony…

I assume this is something few would think about doing, and fewer still would do. But that is exactly what we did Saturday night when we attended the Tacoma Symphony Orchestra’s Sounds of the Season . [As an slight aside, the conductor, Harvey Felder, is by far the most entertaining conductor I’ve watched…].

There was a slight bit of nervousness–Josh was beginning to get a little fussy right before the start, and I was a little concerned he’d make noise at the most inopportune time, like right as it began and there was absolute silence. But he did not, and did absolutely wonderful, as did Mika and Sammy as well.

PS The tickets were purchased before my departure from employment last Monday, plus will be mostly refundable because it was also a homeschool field trip.
