Just sent off my Customer Service email, but stumbled upon this in the Agreement:
“You acknowledge that the service is not inherently secure…”
Whoa…wait a minute. The marketing jargon says something completely different (and despite the lack of quotation marks, this is a direct copy and paste from here):
Protective. The security features of the T-Mobile HotSpot network help make sure that your information stays secure and private.
They can’t have it both ways, selling it as being secure, but then in the fine print saying that you agree to the fact that it is not.
We’ll see where my email leads–will post results here.
