The Power of a Big Brother

One of Sammy’s endearing traits is his sock selection, with his favorite pair being red. And apparently they go with anything and everything, even if there is no other red on his body. But he’s not wearing them today…this is an important point to make.

Tonight, Josh was getting into his diaper bad and pulled out a spare pair of socks. They happen to be red. He brings them to me and at first I ignore him because Sammy and I are playing Madden 08. So he sits beside me and begins trying to take his green, matching socks off by himself. Even using teeth.

I stop and help him take off the green, and then I put the red on…and he’s happy as can be.
