The Texas and Polygamist Sect Issue

What in the world is going on in Texas? Authorities raid the compound under unproven, unsubstantiated claims regarding only a few children and end up removing all children and placing them in foster care. Again, because of unsubstantiated claims. Weeks later after reaching the Texas Supreme Court, the initial order to remove the children is overturned and that the State’s seizure was unwarranted.

The families should then be reunited, no? No, because the initial judge, whose ruling was overturned, decides she will set up restrictions on the mothers in order for them to get their kids back. From an unwarranted seizure.

As an example of the “proof” of the State:
Texas officials claimed at one point that there were 31 teenage girls at the ranch who were pregnant or had been pregnant, but later conceded that about half of those mothers, if not more, were adults. One was 27.

If teenage girls getting pregnant is grounds for removal from homes, think of all the teens NOT a part of the sect in every town in this country.
