Viatalk Responds?
- by Scott
Got an interesting comment on my recent post about my Viatalk issues that suggest that the company is doing some form of brand monitoring. This is a good thing. However, the response itself, not so much (copied below in the event they decide to delete it):
First, the comment is left semi-anonymously…no email or link to blog, etc. No way to respond directly. So why do I believe the comment came from someone related in some way to Viatalk?
1. No referring link: the visits were direct to the post about Viatalk.
2. Two different systems within minutes of each other from same IP address in Albany, NY (one Vista, one Mac OSX). Guessing the link was sent to another person who then posted the response.
3. Viatalk has office(s) in Albany.
Secondly…in reference to the comment itself: rather than addressing the issues, the comment attempts to distract from the point of their poor quality service to some sort of poor decision on my part to stay with them. Financially, though, as I responded, it makes no sense for us to switch yet, since we are paid through December.
So, Johnathan Frank, you have my answer…but now my question: why are you being so obscure in your identity?

If you are that unhappy, why don’t you just quit? It sounds like you’d be better off with a different company.
