Getting Better…

Things are improving and we are making our way back to “normal”. Don’t get me wrong, it still hurts, and that pain ebbs and flows like the ocean, but there are several things that have brought me much comfort:
1. So many people have reached out on the blog, on Facebook and MySpace, on the phone, in email, and a few in person. Just that simple fact makes a difference.

2. Many of those people said they were praying for us, and I believe many of them were sincere in that. Prayer can be powerful.

3. The new Third Day CD. I’ll be posting a detailed review of it, their best CD ever, soon. Best musically and lyrically. By far. Stay turned for that review.

4. I decided not to post pictures of Ethan, partly because it is such a personal, painful thing. But I want to describe how he was positioned: his little hands were together, folded under his chin, with his head tilted slightly, like he was peacefully sleeping. That had a tremendous impact.

Each day is a new day, and each day things are improving. We will always remember little Ethan, and I long for the time I get to see him again. In the meantime, life does go on…except with a few extra kisses and hugs…
