Day 2 Post-Employment

I love using that term in these posts, in case you are wondering. And will continue to do so for quite some time.

So day 2 is now over…and I am sore. Normally with IT stuff is at a computer, or for much of the time for me, sitting at my desk or even on my couch remotely solving an issue. But today was a lot of picking things up, placing them, crawling around under things, running wire…fairly non-stop for a little over 5 hours.

Monday will be finishing up and making things neat and pretty. Mounting, zip-tying, routing cables cleanly, and waiting on the cabling folks to terminate a couple remaining data ports to finish connecting another system.

All in all, a couple of productive day post-employment, and booked through mid-Wednesday! 🙂
