Many people don’t know this, and that’s simply because I’ve chosen not to make it a big deal…or more importantly, to allow it to define me: at the end of 1992, I was medically discharged from the Navy with a 20% disability rating. There’s no need for me to go into what the medical condition was/is, but let’s just say that it’s something that didn’t mix too well with working with nuclear power, ok?
