Republican Senate Leadership Survey

Apparently I’ve been tagged by someone, somewhere as a grassroots activist of sorts…yeah, who’d thought that?–and was sent this survey. Quite interesting, not only because I am no longer a member of the Republican Party, but because of the wording of some of the questions.

They are quite obviously concerned about the TEA Party and other grassroots activism–one of the questions was quite blatant to that end: Can the Republican Party hope to gain control of Congress without the support and activism of folks like you? That was a resounding no.

They certainly did not get off easy–I wrote in my own answers to a couple of the questions. Here’s one example:
Will you help build a strong foundation of Republican grassroots support to ensure the future of the Republican Party and the conservative ideals and principles that we champion? My answer: I would have to see demonstration from the GOP that it actually does champion these principles.

And for additional comments: The state of this country does not rest solely on the Democrats, but on the GOP and its recent history of being “Dem-lite” as well.

We’ll see how they respond…
