Kids Make Good Illustrations…

Prior to the Super Bowl yesterday (you know, the one in which the Steelers were not able to pay off the refs), we joined our hosts and their guests in a home church service. During worship, Joshie cuddled up to me. (Ok, truth be told, he initially was up there because he wasn’t being quiet…but soon settled down and cuddled….so on with the story).

A few songs into it, he fell asleep (thus the pic).

I thought it was a great illustration of worship…no, not that it can bore you to sleep, but that you can become so relaxed and into it that you lose yourself in it. Fully, like Joshie did, cuddled up to the Father, safe and sound…
