We finally got the notice. Our foreclosure sale is set for June 3rd.
I know there are some that would judge me solely on the basis of hearing the work ‘foreclosure’ without knowing the reason. And that’s fine. A year ago, I might have done the same. But here’s the synopsis from when we left Tacoma. Needless to say, it hasn’t been an easy past 10 months or so…
Do I feel sad? No, not so much…aside for the effect on our credit. That’s short-term–the health and safety of my family is far more important and repercussions far more permanent than the lowering of our credit scores.
It’s more of a relief, actually. I’m even thinking of arranging my schedule to be there for the auction, just to finalize the experience and bring it to a close.

Wow..read the earlier post associated with this one and I can completely understand why you did that! How scary for you and your family before. Glad that you are somewhere better and you're right, this life and all that's in it is so short term…
