Highs and Lows…

Yesterday was quite the day, with its highs and lows.

For the high, I submit this:
Sammy with New Black Belt

Sammy was presented his black belt at the start of class.

For the lows, be thankful I did not take a picture.

But let me paint you said picture with words:
During class, Sammy started to look run–down and tired. I asked him if he was ok, and he said he was, but was just thirsty. So he drank his water. At the end of class he still looked not-so-good, but said he was ok. So we drove home.

At our exit off the freeway is a long hill, and at the top we turn left. About halfway up this hill, going 50mph, Sammy suddenly asks me if I can roll down his window. I did, and he proceeded to upchuck. I was on the inside lane with a car on the other side, so I couldn’t get over to stop. So we continued, and by the top of the hill, he was done.

However, at 50mph, my car was not so lucky. And it wasn’t until we got home that I got to see how bad it was. And how badly it smelled. I then found a car wash.

Was still a good day, though.
