Performance Designed Products (PDP) has the perfect product: My First Mote™, a micro-sized, kid-friendly remote designed for Wii players with smaller hands that also features interchangeable Cars artwork.

I saved this review for Christmas, to not only test how well it worked, but get Joshua’s reaction.

As for how it works, once synced to the Wii unit, it works wonderfully, just like a native controller. The Wii even tracks and shows the battery level of the Mote.

The smaller size is a great fit for the little hands, and the additional artwork plates allows it to be customized to the preference of the kiddo at the moment.

The only controller requires 2 AAA batteries, and my only criticism of the unit is that the packaging makes no mention of that need (nor does the website). Fortunately, we had some.
