The Epic Project…

One of the greatest benefits of homeschooling is the ability to tailor learning to the individual student and his/her learning style, as well as incorporate many different areas of learning rather than a single subject (like grammar).
Sammy and I have been talking about and planning an epic project to begin in January. It’ll initially be a side project, since it’s not a part of current lesson plans. But he’s excited.
We’ll be announcing it on 1/1/2012, as we’re still ironing out the parameters to help keep him focused on it. And it will require help–maybe even *your* help. So watch for it!
As an aside…where can I find a poster-size or larger world map from prior to 1988 (Cold War era)?
