Baby Update…

It’s been a bit since there’s been an update, and while we don’t have much in the way of new information (because the other appointments haven’t taken place yet), there’s a little bit to pass along for those that have been following and praying.

Yesterday was the formal intake appointment in Tacoma where the prenatal care has been transferred to. Lots of questions, updating charts and medical history…so much so that I left partway through the appointment to stop at a client’s before the end of the day.

The one tidbit that JoAnn did get from the appointment is that the charts reflect a high probability of referral to the pediatric neurologist, which would likely mean we’d be delivering up at UW Seattle if NICU care is needed. If she is stable but needs surgery right away, she’ll be transferred to Children’s Hospital.

Of course, nothing is set in stone, since it depends on the findings in the coming appointments, with the final say coming not the many ultrasounds over the next months, or even good doctors in Tacoma or Seattle, but with the one Great Physician, who has known Evanna Joy before she was ever formed in the womb, and whose love for her is greater than even our own…
